The Murphy family participated in a sand castle contest yesterday. Guided by a master sand castle builder, we started with a two hour lesson on the foundations of professional sand sculpture. I was pleasantly surprised to learn a couple of cool tricks, then it was on to ninety minutes of intense competition! Because my mother was affiliated with the contest we took ourselves out of the running to win a prize, but I think we did a great job with our Mickey inspired castle!
